Studies and Citadel Test Paint

I was recently tasked with a test painting for a Citadel Illustrator job I applied for but wasn't entirely happy with the end result. I felt like my original composition got lost and the style was quite different to other Warhammer artwork, so I decided to do a study to get a better handle on the style and specifics.
